The market place is changing quickly, and many businesses run into significant trouble by assuming that older form contracts provide sufficient protection for current commercial issues. This is especially true when the subject of the agreement involves new technologies or methods of distribution. Furthermore, standard contracts being used by businesses are often the result of years of “cutting and pasting” by business people though well intentioned, are addressing only the particulars of the deal at hand.
