In today’s marketplace, distribution of most products and/or technologies is accomplished through multiple distribution channels in both domestic and international markets. Often, distribution rights are initially established without a definitive agreement, which typically results in costly litigation when the relationship sours. Issues relating to product/technology distribution can be complex, such as exclusivity and standards of performance.
